Why become Cyber Essentials Plus certified?
Completing the certification allows your organisation to display the official Cyber Essentials Plus badge, which demonstrates that you take your cyber security seriously and that you have met government requirements to respond to the threat.
On average, more than 4,000 cyber attacks occurred against businesses every day in 2016 according to the Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2017*. It’s now extremely important that you have the necessary precautions in place when you are attacked.
* The Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2017 is a GOV.UK report.

Safeguarding commercially sensitive data

Download sample self-assessment questionnaire
The next step to becoming Cyber Essentials certified is completion of the self-assessment questionnaire. You can download a sample of the questionnaire here.
The purpose of the questionnaire is to establish whether your organisation has the necessary measures in place to defend itself against the most common forms of cyber attack.
We suggest that you download the sample questionnaire to see what information your organisation will need to provide during the certification process.
